Historically, many patients universally have experienced and suffered migraine headache symptoms and have sought treatment through various hopeful methods to overcome the attendant severe periodic headache, irritability and nausea.   While there have been studies to determine its cause, continual investigation is now showing that in many cases, such long term symptoms are not being caused by suspected disease in the arteries or nerves, but by TMJ dysfunction symptoms, because its normal spatial anatomy is being compressed or misaligned in the very area where those symptoms are originating.  While medical screening must first be completed to rule out any specific organic disease, more and more patients are finally getting relief with TMJ therapy and have reported a positive change in lifestyle because of the resolution of those symptoms through non-invasive TMJ therapy procedures.
